In 2014, CPF undertook to sponsor a total of 100 students who participate in the Child Development Fund (CPF) programme. They are students from SKH All Saints’ Middle School, SKH St Simon’s Lui Ming Choi Secondary School, and SKH Bishop Baker Secondary School.
CDF is a government organised programme for the under-privileged students aged from 10 to 16. This is a three year-programme for (i) Target Savings (ii) Mentorship (iii) Personal Development Plan (PDP). To assist the students to form a habit of saving, each of them has to save HK$200 per month for 24 months making a total of HK$4,800. Once this target saving is reached by the 24th month, each participant will receive a matching sum of HK$4,800 from CPF and in addition, the government will top up HK$3,000 making a total of HK$12,600 available to the student, who then can make use of this HK$12,600 to fulfil his dream, further study, or develop his career etc.
SKH All Saints’ Middle School started the CDF programme in January 2014 and 49 students completed the first two years in 2016. Whereas the other two SKH schools started in May 2014 and 47 students completed the first two years in 2016.

確立目標，夢想啟航
參與兒童發展基金計劃已接近三年，初初參與這個計劃，並沒有想過自己的目標和夢想，也沒有想過如何為目標而努力。透過參加計劃的活動及友師的指導，漸漸地，我的目標開始明確，而其他計劃的同學也逐步逐步地完成目標。
為了達成我的目標，我利用儲蓄去報讀語文課程，裝備自己；學校安排我去會計師樓做實習生，體驗會計師的工作；友師也經常在學業上﹑在生活上給予莫大的意見，她亦會帶我四周見識。為此，感謝以上曾經協助我的各位人士，也要特別感謝配對基金捐款人莫綺文女士，因為她的無私奉獻，使我以及一眾計劃的同學可以利用儲蓄去實踐目標，向著夢想啟航。

最初我並沒有打算參加CDF計劃的，但經過朋友、老師及家人的鼓勵下就參加了，這計劃讓我對己、對人及對事都有新的看法。
自從跟隨友師學習及作交流分享後，我發掘到自己的性格及真正想做的事情，亦學會了與別人相處的方法，令我不再害怕面對老師或其他陌生人，性格變得更主動積極及樂觀。與友師交流是一件特別的事，因為自己的生活大多是玩電子遊戲機、打球、上學及看電視，根本沒有機會與一些專業人士作交流，但透過這計劃，我能認識有豐富人生經驗的人士。[…]
總括而言，CDF計劃令我獲益良多，使我更了解自己，學習如何與人相處，最重要的是讓我尋找及了解自己的夢想。
